- Identify, design/assistance and implementation of food standards (with food analytical services) and national GMP/SSOP manuals, codes of practices, Codex Alimentarius guidelines, and food safety and food quality building tools for local and export market

- Application of EU regulations (interpretation of texts, monitoring and control) - Preparation for country EU agreement
- Evaluation and advices on plant design. Plan correction, details for conformities to international requirement and process flow – technical assistance on 12 processing and storage units during construction.

=>Research and development: In charge of R&D on nutrition and feeds: development of new formulations, verification through trials, experiments on feed and pond management, field based project implementation and management, partnership with research institutes (INRA). Sourcing actions on raw materials and integration in optimised formulations.
=>Commercial and technical assistance: Prospection of new clients, commercial contacts, organisations of trials with farms; pond management and nutrition advise.
=>Studies: analysis and survey of farm performance, review of procedures, product quality survey, farm production strategies (production, density, ABW,…), feed production strategies (products, priority, quality, formulation). Trouble shooting and corrective action plans, reviews of certification standards, customer specific quality demands, suppliers quality standards.

=>Feed Trials: management of the experimental farm, trials on commercial feed and formulations, studies of feeding behaviour of Penaeus monodon and feeding techniques. Impact on performance and product Quality.
=>Pond production and pathology: trials on production techniques and strategies (ponds stocking, bloom management, by-products production, feeding, nursery and transfer…); occasional Survey and bioassay on pathology and opportunistic wildlife species. Identification, analysis and implementation of projects for improvement.
