I am currently an employee of ECL France, working at Vedanta Smelter Project in India as Commissioning and Erection Mechanical Technician and Supervisor for PTM’s and FTA’S.I have been an employee of Mozal Smelter for 10 years and during that time I had maintained different key positions. The bulk of my experience at the Mozal Smelter was obtained as Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Equipment Coordinator, Pot line Maintenance Supervisor, PTM Maintenance Supervisor, Shift Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Coordinator for the 1SAP Implementation project.
I have also been extensively involved in both the start-up and commissioning of equipment during the initial stages of Mozal 1 and Mozal 2 building project and currently in India with ECL France.
I believe my background and experience will help me be an asset to your company.

2010 - 2011I am currently an employee of ECL France, working at Vedanta Smelter Project in India as Commissioning and Erection Mechanical Technician and Supervisor for PTM’s and FTA’S
I’m the contact person between the ECL site Manager and the Client (Vedanta Aluminum) also between the ECL subcontractors.
2000 - 20092008/9 - I was on SAP ECC 6.0 Project as Maintenance Coordinator at BHP Billiton Mozal Smelter in addition assist Maintenance Reliability Engineering Team at Reduction Services Department.
The aim of this global programme was to simplify and standardize processes across the group thereby increasing effectiveness and the ability to leverage best practices.
I was also involved in SAP ECC 6.0 Implementation Training with the following responsibilities:
? Attend SAP ECC 6.0 train the trainer sessions in Singapore.
2006 to 2008: I was a PTA (Pot Tending Machines) Maintenance Supervisor, and I was
Accountable for 22 machines (PTA’S, including two MTA’s, CTC and Transfer Gantry) and leading a maintenance team of 20 maintenance technicians.
2003 to 2006: Became a Potroom Maintenance Supervisor, with accountability of all Reduction
Equipments and tools including start up equipment; Lining, De-lining equipment and Ladle
cleaning shop. At the later stage I moved to become a Shift Maintenance Supervisor
were I was accountable for the Potrooms, Pot Tending Assemblies, Ladle Cleaning Equipment
and Gas Treatment Centers.
As a Potroom Maintenance Supervisor I was supervising a team of 14 technicians working in a potline with 576 pots. My responsibilities were:
- Ensure that the pots operate efficiently
- Constantly aware of the key operating parameters such as anode setting schedules, current efficiency, amperage, purity bath temperature.
- Ensure that all 576 pots, overhead cranes and other equipment operate efficiently within the defined parameters
- Ensure that safety rules, procedures and policies are in place to maximize work place accidents And injuries, and reduced related costs
- Ensure that all personnel are fully aware of the comprehensive and integrated quality assurance system in accordance with ISO 9002
1998 to 2002: Worked as Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Mozal, after six month training
at Hill Side in South Africa.
